How to prepare a photo under 100 KB

Set image dimensions and check its real download size for an online form.

1. Read the form requirements

Note the required width and height in pixels, accepted format and maximum file size. Do not assume that every form uses the same rules. In this tool, 100 KB means 100,000 bytes.

2. Set the crop and dimensions

Open Photo & signature preparation and choose your image. Enter the form’s dimensions. Use Crop to fill for a full frame, or Fit whole image to retain the full picture with white padding.

3. Choose JPEG and a 100 KB limit

Select JPEG and enter 100 in Maximum file size. The tool adjusts quality while keeping your dimensions fixed. For a signature, check that every stroke remains readable.

4. Check the result before submitting

Prepare the image and read the size check. If the result is above 100 KB, the tool says so. Try WebP only if the form accepts it, or reduce dimensions only if the form permits. Download and inspect the final image.
