About the result
A lightweight subject-detection model creates a transparency mask. Simple backgrounds and distinct subjects usually give the clearest cutouts. The result is limited to 2048 pixels on the longest side. Existing transparency is respected.

Yes. The download is a PNG with an alpha channel. Some image viewers display a white or black background behind transparent areas.
