What the result means
The tool compares whole lines rather than individual words or columns. It keeps the first occurrence of a matching line and preserves the order of the retained entries. With case ignored, Alpha and alpha match. With trimming enabled, spaces at the beginning and end are removed before comparison; internal spaces stay unchanged.

Does it alphabetize the list?
No. It preserves the original order of the first occurrence of each entry.
Are differently capitalized lines duplicates?
Only when Ignore letter case is checked. Otherwise, comparisons are case-sensitive.
